Beginning in 2019, School and City Elections will be combined and held in November of odd-numbered years. A City election is used to elect the Mayor and Council Members and any other elected city officials. In Lucas County, the City of Chariton has a provision that could cause a run-off election to take place in December. A School Election is an election to select School Board members for school districts within Lucas County.
A Combined City/School Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Voters must vote in their precinct of residence. Please read this notice carefully to determine your correct voting location as voting locations have changed for some voters.
